Shenzhen sets RMB30 billion special loan to support real economy

Development and Reform Commission of Shenzhen Municipality and the Shenzhen Branch of the Export-Import Bank of China signed a cooperation agreement to establish a special loan of 30 billion yuan in financing, according to the Shenzhen Special Zone Daily.

The loans are mainly used to support the resumption of operation and production of enterprises in industries such as manufacturing, strategic industries, and the construction of new major infrastructure investment projects, in order to support the real economy in Shenzhen to overcome difficulties together, and help the high-quality development of the economy.

It is reported that this loan project focuses on supporting the manufacturing, procurement, and import of pharmaceutical products, raw materials, and medical equipment.

It gives priority to providing financial support for the accelerated development of strategic emerging industries such as new-generation information technology, high-end equipment, new materials, biology, new energy vehicles, new energy, energy conservation and environmental protection, and digital creativity.

It will focus on supporting Shenzhen ’s major infrastructure projects such as 5G, big data, artificial intelligence, industrial internet and Belt and Road projects.
