The first 18 pre-positioned warehouses opened by Dingdong Maicai are located in Huilongguan, Shuangqiao, Qingnian Road and other communities. In the future, new pre-positioned warehouses will be opened to cover the whole city.

The area of a warehouse is more than 200 square meters, covering more than 1,800 categories.

It has different storage areas such as cold storage, freezing, and normal temperature, as well as aquatic areas where live fish and shrimp are kept. It stores commodities with different requirements to secure the goods’ freshness.

Dingdong Maicai (100.me) was officially launched in May 2017 in Shanghai, where there is the most intense competition in fresh food e-commerce.

In just three years, Dingdong Maicai (100.me) has been favored by users in Shanghai, Hangzhou, Suzhou, Shenzhen and other markets. The daily order volume exceeded 600,000 and the buyer retention rate exceeded 60% the following month.

Dingdong Maicai (100.me) has a monthly revenue of more than 1.2 billion in February 2020, making it one of the fastest growing startups in fresh e-commerce.
