FPGA-based acceleration technology and solution provider CTAccel announced the close of Series A+ financing round by Junsan Capital. Previously, the company had secured Series A funding round led by Intel Capital, with participation from Ironfire Ventures.

FPGA-based acceleration technology and solution provider CTAccel announced the close of Series A+ financing round by Junsan Capital. Previously, the company had secured Series A funding round led by Intel Capital, with participation from Ironfire Ventures.

The proceeds will mainly be used for further product development and market expansion.

Established in 2016, CTAccel focuses on R&D of FPGA-based multimedia heterogeneous computing solutions such as image and video in the data center. This technology redefines the computing mode of image processing in the data center, and it can provide end-to-end solutions to improve performance and effectiveness tremendously.

CTAccel has obtained patents for the technology in the US and China.

Currently, CTAccel’s FPGA-accelerated solutions which have the capability to bring high-throughput, low-latency image processing has deployed in a wide range of market segments including online-to-offline (O2O) services, smartphone cloud applications, cloud storage and online video sites.
