The artificial intelligence myopia prevention and treatment medical solution service provider, OO Eyetech, has received an additional investment of nearly ten million yuan from Foxconn.

This is the second round of Foxconn’s investment in OO Eyetech. The fresh funding will mainly be used for the R&D of the artificial intelligence myopia prevention and treatment medical system pioneered by the company, and related smart medical device research and development. Next, Foxconn will provide with global R&D, supply chain and production resources for OO Eyetech.

OO Eyetechis an artificial intelligence medical enterprise founded by technology personnel of Chinese Academy of Science. It has built a complete intelligent myopia prevention and control system from “detection-monitoring-prevention and treatment”, including the early-stage vision data collection system and real-time detection analysis of vision, providing a complete set of vision prevention, control and exercise programs.

According to the founder Su Zhenyu, as of now, the second-generation AI proactive medical system has been developed. It is based on the traditional first-generation AI-assisted medical system, and can realize an autonomous AI diagnosis and treatment system.

Since the system was officially launched at the beginning of last year, it has been deployed in more than 200 primary and secondary schools across the country, and has received millions of yuan in government procurement.
