In terms of people’s livelihood, the report made it clear that in the past 2019, the rural poverty population would be reduced by more than 10 million, 200,000 kilometers of rural roads would be built and rebuilt, and the average fees of mobile network traffic would be reduced by more than 20%. In terms of ecology and environment protection, the report mentioned that in 2019, sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxide emissions would drop by 3%, and chemical oxygen demand and ammonia nitrogen emissions would drop by 2%.

The results showed that national emissions of sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides fell by 4.4% and 3.5% respectively last year, and chemical oxygen demand and ammonia nitrogen emissions fell by 3.2% and 3.3% respectively.

The 38 indicating tasks also include a reduction of more than 5% of the central government ’s general expenditures, and a further reduction of about 3% of the “three public” funds. These tasks have all been completed.
