MiiVii Tech recently announced that it has received tens of millions of yuan in a Series A+ round of financing. This round was led by BAIC Capital and joined by Sage Ventures. The company has previously obtained angel round investment from Cloud Angel Fund, and Series A round from Beyondsoft and Silicon Valley Bank China.

Proceeds from this round of funding will be used to add product lines, expand production capacity, and develop vertical industrial applications.

Founded in 2015, MiiVii Tech focuses on the research and application of edge computing and embedded artificial intelligence systems. Its edge computing solution is mainly based on the NVIDIA Jetson series chip architecture, which is also an embedded system-level chip designed specifically for edge scenarios.

MiiVii Tech has a solution for the simultaneous fusion of multi-sensor data in vertical scenarios such as autonomous driving and robots. This solution does not increase the power consumption, volume, cost, and does not consume extra computing power. By modifying the chip, it can use single-chip multi-sensor clock synchronization to provide a data foundation for round-the-clock environmental perception computing.

This solution can also be used in “new infrastructure” scenarios such as car-road collaboration, smart retail stores and more.
