Cyber security startup Netskope receives $340m in investment led by Sequoia Capital

Netskope, the leading security cloud, has closed a new $340 million investment led by new investor Sequoia Capital. New investors Canada Pension Plan Investment Board and PSP Investments participated, as well as all existing investors including Lightspeed Venture Partners, Accel, Base Partners, ICONIQ Capital, Sapphire Ventures, Geodesic Capital and Social Capital.

Netskope, the leading security cloud, has closed a new $340 million investment led by new investor Sequoia Capital. New investors Canada Pension Plan Investment Board and PSP Investments participated, as well as all existing investors including Lightspeed Venture Partners, Accel, Base Partners, ICONIQ Capital, Sapphire Ventures, Geodesic Capital and Social Capital.

Following this investment, the company has achieved a valuation of nearly $3 billion. The proceeds will be used to develop the data center to further increase revenue and enhance research and development.

Founded in 2012, Netskope is a cloud security service provider dedicated to developing software that protects cloud services, applications, and websites. Netskope uses patented technologies, and a cloud-scale security platform can provide real-time information on the cloud usage of customer enterprises.

Netskope is responsible for maintaining the security of Amazon AWS cloud services, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud services, as well as helping to secure the network software of cloud storage company Dropbox, customer relationship management (CRM) software service provider Salesforce and office collaboration startup Slack .
