Unitree Robotics was established in August 2016. Since its establishment, the company has researched motors, reducers, motor drivers, main controllers, mechanical structures and some sensors of the machine. The company has developed four robots: Laikago, Laikago Pro, AlienGo and Unitree A1.

According to Wang Xingxing, the founder and CEO of Unitree Robotics, proceeds of this round of financing will be mainly used to expand the team and increase production capacity to promote the quadruped robots from the B-end to more application scenarios.

At present, Unitree Robotics mainly has two quadruped robots: AlienGo and Unitree A1. AlienGo is positioned as a universal mobile platform for the industry and is mostly used in business-targeting scenarios such as laboratories and shopping malls.

Unitree A1 is a new product released at CES 2020 in the United States. It is aimed at the scenarios for consumers and is positioned as an education product. It integrates high-definition image transmission, dynamic tracking, and open programming interfaces. This is the first step for robots to enter the lives of ordinary people is a new attempt for the quadruped robots.
