In the east area of Binhai County, where the Yancheng project is located, a 10-square-kilometer Bingang Future City will be constructed with residential buildings, schools, hospitals, cultural and sports parks, science and technology centers, and commercial squares in it.

After the Baowu Iron and Steel Base is put into operation, tens of thousands of employees will settle in Binhai, living in the Bingang Future City.

Besides, China Baowu Steel Group Corporation Limited will cooperate with the Jiangsu government to launch a 20-million-ton high-quality steel project in Binhai Port Industrial Park of Yancheng City. The project will deepen the cooperation between ports and port cities as well as increasing the investment in port production.

The first phase of the project is planned to start next year, with a production capacity of 8-10 million tons and an investment of 50 billion yuan. Baowu will give priority to Baosteel in undertaking the project.
