According to the National Energy Administration, by the end of 2019, China’s installed renewable energy power capacity reached 794 million KWh, an increase of 9% year-on-year.

In 2019, China’s renewable energy installation capacity accounted for about 39.5% of the total power installation capacity, up 1.1% compared to the previous year.

Meanwhile, China’s renewable energy utilization has been continuously improved. In 2019, power generation from renewable energy sources reached 2.04 trillion KWh, an increase of approximately 176.1 billion KWh from a year earlier. The renewable energy power generation made up 27.9% of the country’s total, a rise of 1.2 percentage points year-on-year.
