On June 6, China Unicom announced that it has signed a space-air-ground integrated network integration strategic cooperation agreement with Huawei in Beijing.

China Unicom Network Technology Research Institute and Huawei jointly built and demonstrated the MEC-based low-orbit satellite-5G fusion business demonstration platform.

The two parties will cooperate in the integration of low-orbit satellites and 5G network technologies and solutions, explore satellite-based Internet of Things, satellite car networking and other business applications based on air-ground joint, and jointly build an industrial ecology.
