FinTell closes USD10m-level Series B round led by Telstra Ventures

FinTell has recently completed a Series B financing round, raising tens of millions of US dollars. The round was led by Telstra Ventures, and the proceeds will be used for technological investment in systems, servers, storage, and talent recruitment in the financial technology field.

Previously, the company had secured a Series A financing round from Sequoia Capital China and Series A+ round led by China Growth Capital.

FinTellis a provider of high-end fintech services based on mobile internet big data. The company provides intelligent risk control decisions and systematic solutions for banks and other licensed financial institutions by applying new technologies such as artificial intelligence and combining professional risk control experience.

In 2019, the number of FinTell’sclientsand business volume doubled, and revenue reached tens of millions ofyuan, more than ten timesof the numberin 2018.

On the team side, FinTell has more than 100 employees, of which product and R&D personnel account for more than 60%, mostly from domestic leading Internet companies.

Chairman and CEO Wang Jin used to be vice president of Baidu, co-founder of Baidu financial business unit, and senior vice president of American Express with more than 20 years of financial practice and management experience in risk management, econometric models and data analysis.
