Xinjiang to invest over RMB2 billion this year to build 4,900 5G base stations

According to reports, by the end of this year, 5G base stations can achieve continuous coverage in the main urban area of Urumqi and 5G network coverage in other prefectures.

Currently in Xinjiang, 5G has been used in remote inspections in the medical field, power grid VR inspections, coal mine drone mining and other fields.
