DeepScience, an extended reality imaging technology research and development company, has completed tens of millions of yuan in an angel round of financing, led by Innoangel Fund, with participation from HCH Fund and Guizhou Yunsun Big Data (AC accelerator).

Proceeds from this round of financing will be used for team expansion and sales system construction; in the meantime, the company will continue to carry out core technology research and development and product iteration.

Established in 2016, DeepScience has focused on the research and development of the underlying technology and applications of extended reality images, and has launched two core products namely DreamMaker real-time animation production and DeepArt smart shooting.

Cheng Weizhong, founder of the company, said that the biggest progress in business in 2020 is mainly in the expansion of its DreamMaker product line.

Among the existing product lines of DeepScience, DreamMakerLite is a professional-level animation production tool, and the product can also support users to build virtual live broadcasts. The clients are mainly large-scale enterprises, including Douyin, Kuaishou, Bilibili, etc.

In addition to the one-time deployment of software and hardware, the clients also need to pay an annual fee of tens of thousands of yuan per year. DreamMakerLite has been widely used in the industries of film and television, animation, VR/AR, games and live broadcasting.
