VirtAITech nets nearly USD10m in Pre-A financing round

VirtAITech, a Chinese virtualization software startup, has completed its Pre-A round of financing with a capital injection of nearly 10 million US dollars. This round of financing was led by Gobi Partners China, with participation from GL Venture Capital, iFLYTEK Fund, as well as angel round investor Yonghua Capital.

The proceeds will be used to expand the development of high-speed growth of AI and cloud games and other resource pooling and virtualization products, marketing, and customer service teams.

Established in 2019, VirtAI Tech is a developer of AI accelerator virtualization units designed to support AI computing. The company specializes in developing advanced virtual graphics processing units capable of performing granular, remote, and dynamically configurable computations for physical GPUs with almost zero performance loss, providing advanced processing training models for various AI applications.

VirtAI Tech was founded by Dr. Wang Kun, the former president of Dell EMC China Research Institute. It is rooted in the Chinese market and serves the world. The company is wholly independent and controllable, and has the vision and management experience of an international company.
