China Agricultural University’s Smart E-commerce Research Institute released recently a report on the status and development of rural e-commerce talents in China in 2020.

The report estimates that in the next five years, the agricultural product e-commerce talent gap will gradually rise to 3.5 million.

In addition to entrepreneurial e-commerce talents, rural and county e-commerce talents are mainly divided into four categories: operation promotion, art design, customer service, and logistics and warehousing, accounting for 12.4%, 16.8%, 23.3% and 31.7%, respectively.
