On June 13, China Eastern Airlines and the Henan Provincial Government signed a new round of strategic cooperation agreement in Zhengzhou.

On June 13, China Eastern Airlines and the Henan Provincial Government signed a new round of strategic cooperation agreement in Zhengzhou.

Since the two sides started strategic cooperation in September 2013, China Eastern Airlines has opened routes at Zhengzhou, Luoyang, Nanyang, and Xinyang airports in Henan. It reaches 35 domestic destinations and 4 international destinations. It has 48 routes carrying a total of 3.56 million passengers.

In terms of local freight logistics business, China Eastern has opened 20 domestic direct routes and 5 international routes, and then reached more than 60 destinations across the country through Shanghai and Kunming.

In the future, China Eastern will focus on building its Zhengzhou operating base and help it build an air logistics center and an international air cargo hub.
