VisionNav Robotics closes RMB100m Series B1 round led by Lenovo Capital

VisionNav Robotics has completed a Series B1 round of financing of 100 million yuan. This round was led by Lenovo Capital, with participation from Flyfot Ventures and existing investor Eastern Bell Venture Capital.

VisionNav Robotics has completed a Series B1 round of financing of 100 million yuan. This round was led by Lenovo Capital, with participation from Flyfot Ventures and existing investor Eastern Bell Venture Capital.

Proceeds from the financing round will be used for the continuous research and development of industrial unmanned vehicle visual control and perception technology, rigid-demand scenarios breakthrough and large-scale replication.

VisionNav Robotics was established in 2016, as a joint incubation enterprise of the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Science Park, it focuses on the development and application of driverless technology in the vision industry.

By integrating visual control, perception and 5G technology into industrial vehicles, the company is committed to providing flexible, intelligent, cost-effective unmanned handling solutions for loading, unloading, access, outdoor distribution in the field of warehousing and logistics.

Talking about the company’s future development, CEO of VisionNav Robotics Li Luyang said that in addition to the accelerating the commercialization of its solution in China, the company is actively deploying in overseas markets. In 2020, it will focus on Hong Kong, China, and radiate Southeast Asia, East Asia, and the Middle East markets, and then entered the European and American markets.
