It marks an important progress in the clean and efficient use of traditional energy in energy standardization in Shandong.

Shandong Province issued the Guiding Opinions on Strengthening Standardization of the Energy Industry in June last year. It planned to develop and revise a series of local standards in the fields of clean and efficient use of traditional energy and in-depth development and utilization of new energy in three years.

Since the beginning of this year, Shandong has reviewed 146 currently valid provincial energy industry local standards that have been implemented for more than 5 years to solve the problems of overlap and backwardness in the existing standards; at the same time, 19 new standards have been established.

Up to now, 3 standards including “Modified Clean Coal” have been issued and implemented.

In 2018, the energy department of Shandong Province proposed two clean coal standards, which were prepared by Yankuang Group, Yankuang Technology Company, and Yankuang Blue Sky Clean Energy.

The release of the above standards aims to provide technical standard support for the promotion of the use of clean coal.
