PuduTech, an indoor delivery robotics company, has recently announced the completion of its Series B funding round, with exclusive investment from Meituan. The amount of funding is over 100 million yuan.

Zhang Tao, CEO of PuduTech, said proceeds from this round of funding will be used mainly for product development, sales expansion, and enlarging its overseas business.

PuduTech focuses on research and development, design and production ofrobots, with a variety of delivery robot products, which has been widely used in restaurants, hotels, office buildings, hospitals, KTV and other scenarios. The company’s products have been sold to more than 200 cities in more than 20 countries around the world.

The core technologies of PuduTech are low-speed self-driving, robot motor drive and motion control. The company’s team has independently developed a number of technologies, and has applied for hundreds of core patents to date.
