LY.com data: Beijing residents eager to travel after restrictions lifted

According to big data from LY.com (formerly Tongcheng), within 30 minutes after the news was released, the search volume of Beijing’s outbound flights had increased by 500%, compared with the same period of the previous day.

The most searched routes included Beijing to Sanya (Hainan Province), Beijing to Lijiang (Yunnan Province), Beijing to Dali (Yunnan Province), and etc.

Besides, the search volume of hotel stays in the related destinations in the next two weeks also has increased significantly, up by nearly 350%.
