Recently, a number of hydrogen fuel buses have been put into trial operation on a specific Hydrogen Bus Line in Lu’an City, Anhui Province.

This marks the operation of the first batch of hydrogen fuel cell city buses in Anhui Province. The buses operated in this trial are all manufactured by Anhui Ankai Automobile.

These buses use hydrogen as the main fuel, and the emissions are mainly high-purity hydrogen-rich water, which is colorless, odorless, and pollution-free.

Ankai introduced that the hydrogen fuel cell bus can complete hydrogen filling in 5 to 10 minutes, and the cruising range is about 300 kilometers. At the same time, it has the advantages of low hydrogen consumption, low cost, and strong environmental adaptability. The whole vehicle can run well in the environment of -30℃~45℃.

The company applied for 22 national patents during research and development, and was granted 13 utility model patents and 1 design patent. But it did not mention the status of any invention patents.

It mentions that the company has also formulated six enterprise standards and design specifications for fuel cell buses and spare parts, and built one fuel cell bus production line.
