On July 29, insurtech service provider G-HCARE closed a multimillion-yuan Series A round led by BAI, and joined by existing investor Unity Ventures. Echo Capital served as the sole financial adviser.

Founded in December 2018, G-HCARE is a developer of a healthcare software designed for healthcare insurance companies and medical organizations.

The company develops a healthcare insurance management system by utilizing big data and artificial intelligence technology, enabling insurance companies to improve customer management efficiency and empowering individuals to have high-end healthcare insurance services including record management, overseas treatments, and mobile diagnosis.

In the first half of 2019, the company was focused on building a network of health management service providers at home and abroad and continues to identify and expand quality TPAs and healthcare service partners.

In terms of commercialization, G-HCARE has entered into business cooperation with a number of insurance companies, including Ping An, Zhong An and Sunshine Insurance, and currently has launched a number of cooperative insurance products.

This round of financing will also help the company to further improve its system research and development capabilities and the technology level of its team.
