The Shanghai government strives to build city into a comprehensive and open global asset management center at an international level with a high concentration of asset management elements, leading technology applications, and a complete ecosystem by 2025.

Recently, Li Jun, deputy director of Shanghai Municipal Financial Supervision and Administration Bureau, mentioned this goal at the China Asset Management Annual Conference 2020.

The city strives to become an important hub for asset management in Asia and ranks among the forefront of global asset management centers.
