Chinese chipmaker Cygnus Semiconductor completes nearly 400 million yuan in Pre-A round

This round of financing was led by CDH VGC (CDH Venture and Growth Capital). Existing investors, GL Ventures, continued to make additional investments.

Two months after the completion of the angel round of financing, Cygnus Semiconductor announced the completion of nearly 400 million yuan in Pre-A round of financing, 36Kr reported.

This round of financing was led by CDH VGC (CDH Venture and Growth Capital). Existing investors GL Ventures, continued to make additional investments. Fosun, GGV Capital, GP Capital, General Capital, Vision Knight Capital, Green Pine Capital Partners and Wofo Capital participated in the investment.

Shenzhen Huaqiang, a listed company, also participated and made strategic cooperation with the company.

Cygnus Semiconductor is a high-tech enterprise focusing on chips for “5G Internet Connecting Everything”. Currently, it has established headquarters and three R&D centers in Shanghai, Nanjing and Shenzhen.

It has initially built a mature R&D system, focusing on the development of 5G connection processor chips, related peripheral chips and integrated application chips, covering “5G Internet Connecting Everything” use cases.
