Huawei Technology Co., Ltd. (Huawei) signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with China Academy of Information and Communication Technology (CAICT) and its affiliated Purple Mountain Laboratories.
The three parties will carry out “all-around and multi-level” cooperation in industrial Internet identification analysis, blockchain, New IP, network computing, and storage integration, accelerating the development of a new generation of information technology.
The trio will take “industrial internet and new internet technology” as the core to jointly promote the in-depth integration of industrial internet, blockchain, New IP, and other sectors, and help the high-quality development of China’s industrial internet industry.
New IP is the next-generation network and protocol system proposed by Huawei to digitalize the entire industry and the industrial internet.
Based on the existing IPs, the so-called New IP aims to meet the needs of the internet and industrial internet sectors, mainly for intelligent Machine-To-Machine communication in the future. It would provide technologies and protocols with low latency and high security and privacy standards, with “Everything Connected.”
